Chou's broad research interests are in networks, signals and systems. In particular, Chou's current research focuses on molecular communications and computing, and pervasive computing. Chou received a BA in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford and a PhD in Systems and Control Engineering from the University of Cambridge. Chou is on the editorial board of IEEE Transactions on Molecular, Biological, and Multi-Scale Communications; IEEE Wireless Communications Letters and Nano Communication Networks.
